About Us
In 2015, EDSI was awarded a contract to serve as the System Wide Services provider to support Philadelphia Works' "No Wrong Door" model. EDSI operates as an intermediary to ensure consistent services between the Philadelphia integrated CareerLink® Centers for jobseekers, employers and community agencies. EDSI is also responsible for service delivery to specialized populations: Rapid Response services to dislocated workers, collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Reintegration Services (RISE) for services to individuals with criminal histories, delivering services to the Philadelphia Housing Authority’s Job Plus program, and project management of industry-specific boot camp programs.
Services We Provide
- Business Services, including technical assistance in PA CareerLink’s job search site, pre-screening of candidates, recruitment events, and access to On-the-Job Training funds
- Job Readiness Curriculum delivery
- Resume and Microsoft Specialist-facilitated workshops and 1-1 services
- Development of e-curriculum for Philadelphia’s Virtual One-Stop
- Coordination of services with community partners
- Delivery of jobseeker services within the community
- Rapid Response services
- Specialized services for individuals with criminal histories
