EDSI has once again been named one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® in 2026, marking its 17th consecutive year receiving this honor. EDSI also earned an Elite designation in the Civility and Inclusion category, recognizing its commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive workplace where employees feel valued and supported.

Presented by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR), the program evaluates organizations through an independent research process that includes employee surveys and workplace practices. Elite designations recognize top-scoring organizations in specific categories, highlighting excellence in areas such as Civility and Inclusion. This recognition reflects EDSI’s commitment to a people-centered culture grounded in its values: Show Up, Smile, and Support.

Congratulations to Jill Kotchi, Program Manager with EDSI's Young Professionals team, on being recognized as the Macomb/St. Clair Michigan Works! Shining Star Award recipient at the Michigan Works! Annual Conference. The award honors one individual from each Michigan Works! agency for exceptional dedication and contributions to helping job seekers and employers succeed.

Jill's commitment to supporting young people throughout Macomb and St. Clair counties makes this recognition especially well deserved. We are proud to celebrate her leadership and the positive impact she continues to make in the communities we serve.

More than 300 job seekers came through Workforce Day in Scranton, PA, connecting directly with 30 employers and five training providers. The event gave attendees an opportunity to explore career options, learn about available training and meet with employers face-to-face about current job openings.

Bringing job seekers and employers together in one place creates valuable opportunities for connection and conversation. The event also generated local media attention, helping spread the word about the hiring event and the workforce services available in the community. EDSI Business Services Representative Matt Giombetti was interviewed for the news segment, sharing more about the event and its impact.

The event was featured by WOLF/FOX 56, whose coverage highlighted the hundreds of job seekers who attended and the employers there to meet with them.

Job growth is creating new opportunities across the Philadelphia region, but access to those opportunities isn't always equal for everyone.

Through the Pennsylvania Good Jobs Challenge, EDSI's Philadelphia team is helping connect jobseekers with training, employers and career pathways in growing industries. The initiative brings workforce partners and employers together to help remove barriers and create greater access to good jobs.
